Beta Test Team

The Activewear patterns were a much harder effort than we had expected. The patterns are the most closely fitted patterns in all of Dress Shop. They have to work with a variety of knits of varying stretch and quality. The fit issues were challenging and we could never have gotten these changes accomplished without the incredible hard work and dedication of our beta testers.

Kaaren Hoback coordinated the team, accepting the hundreds of emails a day that came in and distilling it to what the development team needed to work from. It was a mind-numbingly difficult job that Kaaren did brilliantly. And, it took far longer than she ever expected. This was one tough project.

Working with Kaaren was a team of beta testers that put in hundreds of hours looking at, testing and critiquing the new features, patterns, and options. Fully a third of the patterns in this collection were suggested by testers or extensively modified due to their complaints, suggestions, and design ingenuity.

The tireless dedication, testing, and sewing, sewing, sewing of pattern after pattern has made this collection one we are very proud to offer to you. I'm sure there are still issues that we can improve in the future and we will do that as we hear about the need. But, what we have here in the Activewear II collection of patterns is an awesome achievement of our test and design team.
